Share
- Jupiduu is a German-designed children's movement brand making jumpspots, slides, swings and climbing pieces built for real family homes.
- We stock five pieces at KIDDYKIND, from £170 to £335, with more (an outdoor pool, slip & slide) coming soon.
- Solid wood frames, low-tox materials, made in Europe to EN 71 safety standards.
- Best for: families who want investment pieces that support child movement and last for years.
- Quick pick: Most families start with the Indoor Jumpspot.
The short answer: Jupiduu is one of the few children's movement brands we'd put in our own homes. And we have. They make beautifully-designed, solidly-built jumpspots, slides and swings from a small German design studio. The build quality, materials and design thinking justify the price for most families. If you're choosing where to start, the Indoor Jumpspot is the piece families most often pick first.
Now the longer answer.
The moment Jupiduu was made for
There's a moment every parent knows. Your child is full of energy and what they need is somewhere to put it, somewhere safe, somewhere they can really move. Climb, jump, swing, tumble.
Movement isn't something to manage. It's something children's bodies are built for. Jupiduu was made for exactly this.
We stock a lot of brands at KIDDYKIND and we're particular about which ones make the cut. (We're parent-founded, the bar for what goes in our own homes is the bar full stop.) Jupiduu is one of the brands we get asked about most often and one we keep recommending.
This is the honest guide we wish existed when we were first looking at them.
What is Jupiduu?
Jupiduu is a German design studio making movement pieces for children. Indoor and outdoor jumpspots, swings, climbing structures, all built around how kids actually want to move.
The brand was founded with a simple frustration: most children's movement equipment is either too institutional (built for a soft-play centre, not a living room) or too flimsy (built for a single season). Jupiduu set out to build pieces parents wouldn't want to hide and kids would still be using in five years.
Every piece is made primarily from solid wood, with high-quality fabric where bounce or softness is needed. Production happens in Europe under strict safety standards. (More on materials below.)
The Jupiduu range we stock
We currently stock five pieces from the Jupiduu range, with more on the way (an outdoor pool and a slip & slide are landing soon). Here's the full picture and then we'll go deeper on the three pieces families most often start with.
| Piece | Price | Where it lives | Made for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Indoor Jumpspot | £260 | Indoor | Bouncing, year-round indoor energy |
| Outdoor Jumpspot | £335 | Outdoor | Bouncing, all-weather garden play |
| Indoor Wooden Slide | £215 | Indoor | Climbing + sliding, indoor adventure |
| Outdoor Slide | £237 | Outdoor | Climbing + sliding, garden play |
| Play & Chill Swing | £170 | Indoor or outdoor | Gentle swinging, wind-down moments |
The three pieces families opt for most
Of the range, these are the three families come back to ask about and the three we most often recommend.
1. Indoor Jumpspot, £260
The piece most families start with. A solid wood-framed bouncing pad small enough to tuck into the corner of a living room, sturdy enough to take years of jumping.
Available in five soft colourways: Dark Beige, Light Blue, Rosa, Camel and Olive. Designed to live in the room, not be hidden in a cupboard.

2. Outdoor Jumpspot, £335
Same idea, garden edition. Built to live outside through every season with a weatherproof frame and durable bounce material. If your child is happiest barefoot in the grass, this is theirs.
3. Play & Chill Swing, £170
The calm one. A rope swing with a soft seat designed for gentle, regulating movement. Where you'll find them reading or drifting after a big one. Gentle swinging supports the same vestibular development that bouncing does, in a quieter register.

Also worth knowing, the slides
We don't always lead with the slides, but they're some of the most beautiful pieces in the Jupiduu range and worth a mention.
1. Indoor Wooden Slide, £215
A wood-built slide for indoor play. Available in White, Pink, Green and Blue. The kind of piece that earns its place in a room rather than feeling like a compromise.
2. Outdoor Slide, £237
Built for garden play, year-round. Sturdy, weatherproof, designed to be in use for years.

Why we vet and stock Jupiduu
When we evaluate a brand to stock at KIDDYKIND, we look at four things:
- Materials. No nasties. Low-tox is a hard line.
- Build. Will it last more than one season? Will it survive a child actually using it?
- Design philosophy. Was this made by people who understand children or marketers who don't?
- Trust signal. Would we put this in our own home?
Jupiduu clears all four. Solid sustainably-sourced wood. Construction designed to grow with the child. A founder team that includes parents. And yes, these are in our own homes.
Movement and child development: the why behind the pieces
A short note on why this matters, because we get asked.
Movement isn't a bonus for children. It's how their bodies learn to feel safe in space. Two developmental systems are doing most of the work here:
- Vestibular development, the inner ear system that gives a child their sense of balance and spatial awareness. Jumping, swinging and tumbling exercise this directly.
- Proprioception, the body's sense of itself in space. Climbing, pushing and rhythmic movement build proprioceptive awareness.
Children who get plenty of whole-body movement in early years tend to develop better gross motor skills, better focus and, perhaps surprisingly, better sleep. Jupiduu pieces aren't toys exactly. They're invitations to move.
Which Jupiduu piece is right for your family?
| Your situation | Best piece | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Indoor energy needs somewhere to go | Indoor Jumpspot | Compact, room-friendly, year-round |
| Garden-focused family | Outdoor Jumpspot or Outdoor Slide | Built for the elements, all seasons |
| Child loves climbing + sliding | Indoor Wooden Slide | Wood-built, indoor-friendly, sturdy |
| Child needs help winding down | Play & Chill Swing | Gentle, regulating, calming |
| Sensory-seeking child | Indoor / Outdoor Jumpspot | Big-movement output, full-body |
| Sensory-avoidant child | Play & Chill Swing | Predictable, rhythmic, low-stimulation |
| Older child (5+) who jumps hard | Outdoor Jumpspot | Built for bigger jumping |
| Toddler to preschool age | Indoor Jumpspot or Indoor Slide | Lower stakes, supervised, soft surroundings |
| Want one piece to start | Indoor Jumpspot | The most-loved opener |
Are Jupiduu pieces worth the investment?
Honest answer: if you're comparing the price tag against a budget alternative on day one, Jupiduu looks expensive. By year five, it's the cheaper choice. The cheaper bounce mats and swings we've seen in the market don't survive a single proper child. Jupiduu pieces are designed for siblings to inherit.
For a household that values longevity, low-tox materials and a piece that earns its space in a room, yes. Worth it.
FAQs
Is Jupiduu safe for toddlers? The Indoor Jumpspot is designed for children from around 18 months upwards (with supervision). The Outdoor Jumpspot and Play & Chill Swing are designed for ages 3+. Always check the age recommendation on each product page.
How long does Jupiduu equipment last? Most pieces are designed for 5+ years of regular use. Build quality is significantly above the budget end of the children's movement equipment market. They're designed to be passed between siblings.
Are Jupiduu pieces non-toxic? Yes. Jupiduu uses solid wood with non-toxic finishes that meet European safety standards (EN 71). This is one of the reasons we stock them. Low-tox is a non-negotiable at KIDDYKIND.
Where is Jupiduu made? Designed in Germany, manufactured in Europe under strict safety standards.
What's the difference between the Indoor and Outdoor Jumpspot? The Outdoor version is built with weatherproof materials for year-round outside use. The Indoor version is designed for indoor environments and comes in softer interior-friendly colourways. Same bouncing mechanism, different finishes.
Can adults use the Jumpspots? Weight restrictions vary by piece. Some Jupiduu pieces are sturdy enough that the manufacturer's own instructions permit adult use within set weight limits. Others are designed for children only. Always check the specific weight rating on the individual product page (or in the included instructions) before an adult tries it. As a general rule, the Outdoor Jumpspot is the most robust of the range.
The verdict
