Are wooden toys better than plastic?

Well-made wooden toys last longer and avoid many of the additives found in plastics. Look for water-based paints or natural oil finishes, and check the brand's age guidance, especially for small pieces.

What age are wooden toys for?

Every age, but check each product. Rattles and rag books suit babies, many stacking toys start around 18 months, and games and playsets suit older children.

How do I clean wooden toys?

Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let them dry naturally. Don't soak them or put them in the dishwasher.
