A learning tower (also called a kitchen helper or toddler tower) is a sturdy, guarded platform that lifts your child to counter height. Curve Lab's Learning Curve lets toddlers join in with baking, washing up and handwashing, without the wobble of a step stool or kitchen chair.

It's suitable from around 12 months, once your child is standing confidently, and adjusts to two heights so it's still useful at 6.

Why we love it

  • A secure platform so little ones can stand and help at counter height
  • Open-sided entry so children can climb in and out on their own
  • Fits flush against kitchen counters and bathroom sinks
  • Two adjustable platform heights to grow with your child

Good to know

  • Age: 12 months to 6 years, once standing confidently
  • Platform: 2 adjustable heights
  • Always supervise your child while using the tower
  • Made by Curve Lab

Your questions, answered

What age can a toddler use a learning tower?
From around 12 months, once they can stand steadily on their own, up to about 6 years.

Is a learning tower safer than a step stool?
A learning tower gives your child a wider, guarded platform to stand on, so it feels far more secure than balancing on a step stool or chair. Adult supervision is still needed.

Is a learning tower a good Christmas gift for a toddler?
It's one of the most-used pieces in a family home, and makes a lovely 'big' gift for a one- or two-year-old.
