The full-size Curvy Bookcase displays books front-facing, at child height, so little ones can see the covers and choose their own stories. It's the larger version of Curve Lab's Montessori bookcase, with more space for a growing library.
Its soft, curving shelves are made from FSC beech plywood with a safe, water-based finish, and it comes in oak or walnut tones. Designed by John Tree.

Your questions, answered
Why are Montessori bookcases front-facing? Seeing the covers makes it easier for young children to recognise and choose a book themselves, which encourages a love of reading.
Should I choose the full-size or small Curvy Bookcase? The small bookcase is 55 cm tall, ideal for toddlers; the full-size is 80 cm and holds more books as your child's collection grows.
